Santagostino directly manufactures socks and stockings and (through its subsidiary firm Valfil) very high quality cotton yarns which are distributed all over the world.

This production superiority is not new but is the result of a long search for the best, which actually began in 1876. In that year the firm Calzificio Santagostino S.p.a. was established in Milan, which later moved to the province of Brescia. Today the firm has its headquarters in Quinzano d’Oglio (BS).

Owing to these solid roots, Santagostino is currently recognised as one of the most important firms on the market in this sector, even though it does not invest heavily in communication. We preferred to invest in research and development and in production, which is largely carried out directly in Italy..
